    About

I was asked if I could knit a lightweight but warm, grey blanket with a lovely cable motif.
    Easy, I thought...
Then the reality of how wide a king sized blanket set in and I realised I wouldn’t be able to hold that many stitches onto a needle.
Finally, I realised I could knit it in strips and then sew it together at the end.
However, I have now decided to join as I knit. So far, so good!
I’ve had to unpick most of it as I was creating each strip smaller than the previous row, which caused puckering.
Having unpicked multiple times, as I was losing stitches every 10 rows, I have decided to knit strips and sew them together at the end.
Feeling much happier now-rubbish light but it looks great, promise!
