    I have yet to conquer the use of double pointed needles (I will get the hang of them eventually!), however in the meantime I found this patterm which uses single pointed needles. So have finally knitted my first pair of socks. I'm really pleased with the result and have a lovely pair of cosy socks to wear around the house. Pattern and wool details given. One small note, the pattern called for 1 100g balls of yarn but I only used 1 with some spare as well. And yes I was a good girl and did my tension square first!
