    About

    This is an older pattern and I had been looking for the right yarn for years. I finally found it in October last year (not Sirdar) but the beautiful Rico Creative Cotton Aran in White (80) and Dark Blue (38). I ordered too much yarn though. For the largest size, you only need 9 white and 6 navy. Nevermind, I'm going to crochet a cotton blanket for my grandchild-to-be due in September this year. The embroidery was completed using lengths of twisted Twilleys Goldfingering - Gold (002).

    Other : I chose three gold anchor buttons that I had in my button box. They were perfect!

    Notes: The largest size was 18/22. It's plenty big enough!!
