    About

Charlotte is now 7 months old and so I wanted to knit her a cotton jacket/cardigan for summer evenings. I chose Paintbox Cotton Aran yarn which knitted up beautifully. Reasonably priced and on special offer from LoveKnitting. Garment is knitted in one piece. I chose little kitty buttons which finished it off nicely. Pattern can be used for any type of Aran yarn so good for winter wear also. I added a single crochet edging to give a neater edge to the garter stitch.

Lovely cardigan, especially in cotton, so good for when it is warm.

Thank you. The cotton yarn worked very well. I also enjoyed knitting in one piece as it saved a lot of time making up.

Thank you. I particularly wanted a modern look rather than traditional so this works really well.
