    About

I love the side buttoned jumper patterns around for little ones and after seeing some really nice ones knitted from this very versatile pattern I wanted to try it myself! It is great that the pattern is written for three yarns: 4 ply, 8 ply and 10 ply, very useful if you have left over yarn. I used the same edging as Pat E. If you want to know how to do this click on the pattern and you will see near the bottom of the page all the projects knitted from this pattern. She wrote instructions in the comments for me and they worked out really well :)

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 3.50mm (US 4)
    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6)

    Accessories

    • Buttons
Other : I was lucky to find buttons in the right size that matched the contrast edging in the Tauranga Knitting Centre.

    Measurements

Notes: 6-12 months pattern size but my finished chest measurements matched the newborn size, so I knitted it a newborn length. My knitting gauge is always smaller!

It looks lovely with the contrast trim Denise. I find the pattern comes up small and my tension is usually spot on!
