I wanted to update my daughters bedroom to be a little more grown up. I used Paintbox Super Chunky in 3 shades to make her a super soft rug. It worked out at 1 ball for every two rows, plus the edging.
By switching to Paintbox Aran or Dk yarn, and adding in more repeats to size, you could just as easily use the pattern to make a blanket for her bed (And I probably will in due course!)
