    About

    A gentleman I ran into at my day job saw me crocheting a new pattern coaster for practice and asked me what I would charge for a set. I gave him a price and made him a set. He asked for brown, to match with his interior, but gave me free license to do whatever design I wished. I decided something simple, yet rustic and refined would suit him. When I found this particular yarn, Vanna’s Choice Lion Brand - Taupe Mist - I immediately thought of his request. It seemed a perfect match, and the white is the same brand. As shown, a purely brown coaster seemed a bit plain, so I added the stitches in the first and third rows as an accent color to pull out the highlights of the Taupe Mist yarn itself.
