Ruffled Baby Shrug

I made this for a baby shower for a young friend. She has two young sons, and is thrilled to be welcoming a daughter in a few months!

    About

This pattern is extremely well-written. The directions are very easy to follow. This is my third time making this pattern. It's SO fun! Unfortunately, I forgot to leave a buttonhole in the front (!) so I crocheted a simple loop to hold the shrug closed across the baby's chest.

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Stitch Holder
    • Tapestry Needle
    • Buttons

    Measurements

    Age: 6 mths

Notes: I forgot to make a buttonhole on the front band (!) so I improvised with a crocheted loop on the side opposite the button. Having seen how other babies wear this sweater (or shrug), I recommend a button. It's optional on the pattern, but the garment fits better with a button.
