    Just finished my second Top down (no seams) cardigan for little Ronnie. Not perfect, but I'm happy with it.

      It looks like the sleeves have been joined.
      Also the collar. Can'[t understand how this could be done without any seams. Can anyone explain?

        Hello Joan,

        To try and explain how I did it may be difficult, but here goes. The collar is garter stitch from there I changed to stocking stitch casting on stitches for the button bands. The stitches are then divided by markers that map the shoulders from the back and fronts. Each side of the markers I increased giving the impression of a seam. That is what you can see on the photo. I've posted two more photos on the project showing the “seams” inside and out. hope this helps. Regards Rita
