    About

    Even though the pattern call for 2 strands of DK yarn, I only wanted to use 1 strand. A very helpful Love Knitting lady said chunky yarn would be the equivalent of double dk, also based on the pattern gauge. I had a hard time deciding on a color as my niece chose navy and orchid colors for the nursery. After much looking, I finally decided on the Plymouth Encore Chunky, which is dark blue with a bit of intertwined purple.

    • Circular 9.00mm (US 13)
    • Circular 10.00mm (US 15)
    Other : The edge is done in Size 13and the body of blanket in size 15 circular needles

    Other : I find it helpful to use stitch markers in the beginning and end edging
