This crocheted up very quickly, using half double crochet stitch throughout. I crocheted in a spiral, steadily increasing until I had a circle the right size. After this continue with HDC until you get the height you want, then decrease in the same pattern for the bottom circle.....remembering to put your filled liner in part way through!
My daughter liked it so much I'm now doing one for her; this time in a nice latte colour with a blue rim around the top & bottom.
When I did the first one I didn't account enough for the stretch in the wool when I made my liner, so I think I'll make the liner bigger this time & use extra filling beads.
