    Love this pattern so much had to make it for my girls (daughter and daughter-in-law -to- be). Had to use more user-friendly yarn, so I switched to an acrylic and wool mix (machine washable).

      That's lovely, I might have to add this pattern to my ever growing list. Hopefully the mix takes away the itch. I love real wool but find it itchy

        We don't find it itchy and we all have sensitive skin. Tip; I use a hair conditioner as a rinse before blocking, and the knitted material becomes even softer.
