    About

My inspiration for this project is that my sister is always cold. Now she can be cold no more. The dandy side slits will permit her to work in her home office while wrapped in something that's sort of like a blanket.

This is an elegant and wonderful pattern. Well written and clear. Many thanks to designer Laura Aylor. I learned a new technique - wrap and turn. Cascade Cloud is amazing yarn. So soft and warm. The finished poncho was way too warm for me, but should be perfect for my sister. It knit up really quickly. I made the back longer than the front, mostly because I had some yarn left. The pattern called for 7 skeins of yarn. I used about 5 3/4 and was knitting to gauge.
