    I had previously knitting a hat & scarf for my daughter, but lost them on the train...so, knitted again; however, this time I tried basketweave to avoid the curl of stockinette on the previous scarf
    K35 (or any multiple of 8x + 3, i.e. 19, 27, 35, 43, etc.)

    In hindsight, I might have knitted this one double block (of 8 stitches) narrower (i.e. K27, not K35)
