    About

    This is a pattern I have used a few times now. (Have three pairs myself in the smaller size) Its a free pattern, straight forward and easy to follow. Makes great socks. 4 ply I find is a good weight yarn to use, it knits up fairly quickly,is light on the needles. The finished socks are thick enough to be cosy without being to thick for regular winter footwear. There are some really lovely sock yarns available. I enjoy knitting with the self striping yarns. Love the colour combination in this yarn, Beech or good quality bamboo DPN's are my favored needles for sock knitting.
