    About

I designed this blanket in 2015 and based the design on an older 'Crochet Club' project that I designed a few years earlier. The design features 16 repeated octagon motifs and square and triangular infill motifs and it uses 12 x 100g balls Stylecraft Life DK.
The design echoes Persian and Islamic architecture and geometric patterns.

I live in Australia. I tried to purchase this pattern on the Jane Crowfoot site but could not do it. Is there anyone else who sells it?

Hi Margie, I have just purchased the pattern from Wool Warehouse, I think that Deramores also have the pattern as well as the kits.

I only knitted originally, so wanted crochet, so taught myself from a book with large easy to follow pictures of each stitch... try it.
