    About

Confession time; I started this cute dress before Christmas but other projects and requests stopped me finishing. I am really pleased with the result although a few mistakes were made and some frogging done.

    Pattern

Knitted Dress in Drops Baby Merino

This pattern can be found here:
    www.woolwarehouse.co.uk

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 2.50mm (US 1.5) 60cm
    • Double Point 2.50mm (US 1.5) 10cm
    • Single Point 2.50mm (US 1.5) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Holder
    • Buttons
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : Only the circular needle was recommended in the pattern but I used single and double pointed needles when knitting the separate front and back. It just made it easier for me.

    Measurements

Notes: Size 12 - 18 months (40 cm long). I didn't think I was going to have enough of the blue yarn to finish the garment but I should have had more faith! Continental patterns don't give a lot of details and I guessed at some bits ( one wrongly, but it wasn't disastrous); a lot like the Technical Challenge on Bake Off.

Thanks Diana, I think Quinn adds to the cuteness but I might be biased!

Thanks Alison, it wasn't too hard but I liked the challenge especially because it was on hold for so long - bad granny again.
