First I spotted this summery azure colour blends wool - Stylecraft Sundae, which I just had to buy (c',mon you know how it is). Then what to make... hmmmm... a light, open summery jacket/cardigan/kimono style was just the thing. And the bonus is that this leaflet also has a pattern for a matching wrap, so I'll just have to buy more wool for that too!! Super easy-peasy, with no additional ribs/borders etc. A little bit of shaping for amholes & shoulders. I started it on straight needles, but just prefer to use a circular as it's easier to manoeuvre for the purls. As this is a WIP, I'll update this info once I've finished it :) Oh fiddlesticks, I've just noticed (on uploading the photo) that I've done the pattern stitch incorrectly. Oh well, when I've finished this version, I'll have to get some more wool and have another go at it ;)
