I am having the same problem with the decreasing in the back. I've broken off and joined A, knit an entire row in A and then did one row with the dec at both ends so now I have two rows of A. This is the part I have no clue-- Joining in and breaking off colours as required, now work rem
section of raglan armholes in stripe sequence (see above),
      working shaping as follows:
      Dec 1 st at each end of next and 7 [7: 6: 7: 6] foll 4th rows,
      then on foll 5 [6: 10: 10: 13] alt rows. 19 [21: 21: 23: 25] sts.
      Work 1 row, ending after 6 [6: 6: 8: 8] rows using F and with
      a ws row.
      Break yarn and leave rem 19 [21: 21: 23: 25] sts on a holder

You have to count stripe rows whilst decreasing and change colours according to the size you are knitting. It is not easy.

I am not sure where you are going wrong. Have you cast off 3 stitches at the beginning of 2 rows before you start the decrease?

@Fiona C: hello, thank you so much for answering. I think I've solved the problem. I just decreased also the last colour and now I have 19 sts. Hope it is the right way. I've another project at the moment an islandic pullover. :) I start again the jacket when the pullover is finished. Have a nice day. I will show the finished jacket at the end!!! ;)
