    About

My first socks! Great pattern and fun yarn. I used circulars not dpns.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 2.75mm (US 2) 80cm

    Measurements

    One Size

Notes: I didn't do the heel flap properly - did plain stocking stitch, missed the slip stitch pattern - will definitely do it in my next ones.

I have found the same problem ,I hate it when they don't match .I wish the wool company would sell them in two half .
then they would match ,as they say twins not sisters.

Any tips for the zebra patterning? I’ve just started the Flare pair and my stripes aren’t coming out as good but it’s so hard to tell until you’ve got a lot done.

They’re lovely. Do they stay up ok ? I’m about to start my sock project. I was wondering whether to use knitting in elastic.

I knitted the smaller size for myself and they stay up fine without Elastic. And the larger side for my partner and they stay up a little less well. If I was being a perfectionist I probably would use a little elastic, though not essential :)

Hi Ruth. No, I test-knitted them over the course of two weeks, before the yarn was launched!
