    I have been reading about the benefits of these octopuses for some time, but could only find crochet patterns.
    Until now!!!
    I joined a Facebook page, although I'm not sure if my design will be accepted :-( but a friend of mine is collecting them for local neo-natal units so I may give them to her instead.
    I decided to do one pink and one blue for starters.
    This is how far I got in an hour :-)
    Can't wait to finish them now!!
    I found the Facebook page a bit aggressive in their manner - sorry to anyone who may be connected to them - so have removed myself from the site. I'll stick to sending them via my friend :-)

      Hi Tabitha, I can see (above) that you have put the pattern there. However, even when I copied it, turned it round the right way and enlarged it, I still couldn't read the pattern. When I clicked the link prawelewe.pl it wasn't there. My daughter in law who lives in Spain keeps asking me to make these but I could only find crochet patterns until I came upon yours. Can you please tell me how I can get the pattern. Many thanks. Joy

        Hi Joyce, on the pattern I have it says the link is prawelewe.pl or revelry - there’s a group called prawelewe on there apparently. The original (Danish) pattern is www.spruttegruppen.dk hope that helps. Shame you can’t see the pattern - I’ll try to retake the photos at the weekend

      Hi I am wondering if it is possible to get a pattern for the octopus, we are currently making crochet ones, but some volunteers want a knitted pattern. Thank you.
