    About

I wanted to make something for my first great-niece, who was due at the end of January 2018, and stumbled across a free pattern online for "Octopus for a Preemie" (http://mynomadhome.com/octopus-for-a-preemie-osmiorniczka-dla-wczesniaka/). I loved the concept and thought it would be lovely to make one for her. Only thing is I've never crocheted anything before! Heh! But after watching lots of video tutorials, and many false starts, it finally came together. She was born full-term, healthy and happy, but still liked to hold the tentacles sometimes while she slept during her first few days. I'm rather proud of this octopus! :)
