    I wanted to crochet something for our granddaughter who is due to arrive in January but I wanted to do something different to the shawl I made for her big sister. I spotted this rug on a FB group so looked for the pattern. I have two balls of Bernat Baby Blanket that I wasn't sure what to use them for so I was pleased to see it as an option on the pattern!

    Making notes: I had to size down my hook to 6mm to get correct tension but found that the edges of my circle curled slightly so I changed to 8mm hook for the last round to try to keep work flat.
