    About

This modern sweater has a traditional Fair Isle twist and is knitted in pieces…..front, back, and sleeves. The shawl collar is knitted separately and then sewn into position, seaming required.

Pattern comes with visual images to assist with attaching the shawl collar. Chart and schematic are included.
Size range from 6 months to 12 years.

A relatively quick and cozy knit.

Hi Lesley, not too sure where you live, please let me know and I will try to come up with some alternative yarns that I think would work well (and are not too scratchy). So sorry your grandson would not wear it.

I made the tweed jumper for my grandson in red with black contrast. It is absolutely beautiful, but he won’t wear it as he says the wool is too scratchy! Pity as the pattern is beautiful. Need an alternative yarn to heath. Gutted as the ramble yarn from them is gorge

Love this. Would love to make it, (I have knitted several of your patterns) but the yarn you used is not available from Loveknitting. (All shades will be "back in stock soon.") This is disappointing. I would think that before a pattern is featured on the Loveknitting homepage that somebody would check to see if the yarn is available.
