    About

    Custer asked me if I could knit him a maroon and grey zipped cardigan with cricket type down front. (He meant cables). So I accepted hus comission, he chose vintage Sirdar pattern after I searched web, Sirdar 2016 was exactly what he was looking for. He asked me to knit grey ribbed hem long cuffs and turn over collar. He is rather a portly genteleman unlike the stick thin model. Hope it fits him. Cardigan looks a bit big to me. I used more modern yarn . The sleeve is rather tricky as its worked pick up sts from armhole and dec down to cuffs, never come across this technqe before.

      My customer's custom order, I have substituted original yarn to Patons Extrafine Merino DK. Looks a bit big, I had to resize to Mens 46" chest.
