My new rug

    Patterns don't get simpler than this: it's all knit, knit, knit in a large rectangle! But the super-chunky yarn makes this rug beautiful in all its simplicity, and exactly the thing I want for the entrance of my flat.

    It only goes to show that knitting doesn not need to be complex in order to result in something satisfying. Absolute beginners can do this! And if you are not an absolute beginner, this is the sort of project on which you work while watching your favourite tv programme... :)
