    About

I was inspired while sitting in the sun on my sister-in-law's swing seat, flicking through her knitting books. I was feeling rough because I was on chemotherapy at the time, and the wonderfully rich, warm colours and lovely designs of the squares really cheered me up through a grim winter of treatment. I used Drops Muskat yarn mostly (a soft cotton) plus a gold yarn I found at a knitting fair, plus glass beads and sequins. I've bought more yarn but now I am well (hooray!) and back at work (boo!), there is far less time for knitting and it is going to take a long time to complete.
