    About

I saw this blanket at the last London knitting and stitching show. The colours and shape were lovely. But it was crochet... I learned when I was a kid but I had always preferred knitting. I was so inspired by this blanket... I decided to give it a go and relearn a lost skill. This is my first project of the year... and I am truly loving it! I have surprised myself with the progress and quality so far. Luckily I do not need to worry about gauge or shape... it is only a blanket after all. Perfect for a first time crochet project :-)!

These are the colours included in the colour pack: 101, 522, 208, 411, 386, 410, 252, 264, 414, 402, 385, 253, 397, 146, 201, 527. I am planning on making it bigger and add more colours. The shape of the blanket is done in a basic treble wave repetition.

Yes Sarah, I was surprised how much I am enjoying it, lovely yarn and pattern. It does radiates a sunrise vibe while I work on it...
