My 1st Spring Bunnies!

    About

    I used the free pattern, "Spring Bunnies" by Stephanie to make these crazy-cute amigurumi (as featured on her blog, All About Ami). Rather than make a special trip to the fabric store, I hand stitched Lazy Daisies on felt for the girl bunny's ears, and I also strung tiny pearls (rose-coloured beads, actually, on silk thread) for her to wear around her neck. So dainty! Overall, the pattern was clear and easy-to-follow but for some reason, my perfectionist self struggled long and relentlessly when it came to embroidering their little noses.

    Measurements

    Notes: I used cotton DK weight 3 instead of the recommended worsted weight yarn. While it was a delight to work with these powdery Paintbox yarns, a heavier yarn together with my 2 mm hook would have yielded a cleaner, neater result.
