Multiply the fun, multiply the number of projects you can make from your stash, and learn new techniques to use multi-plies of yarn to make the most beautiful fabrics.
A hat for avid knitters of lace or other fine gauge projects, this one uses up scraps of lace yarn left over from other projects. This simple hat is also a great way to try out some new techniques for multi-stranding yarn. Learn how to create multiple strands of yarn from one ball without cutting and winding and how to create subtly graduated ombre effects.
And because this is a simple project I’ve also made it an opportunity to learn and practice a decorative new decrease that you probably haven’t come accross before. This one creates a pretty braided column. Enjoy!
Is available in sizes from baby to large adult to make use of whatever amount of yarn you have.
Mine is made just three colours and using genuine remains of yarn from other projects.
