Multicoloured cardigan

I made this for my great-niece Elizah.

    About

Octopus and sun hat done, time to tackle something a little bigger. I really liked the look of this pattern, and had some Baby Crofter DK yarn which I had originally bought to knit a cardigan with, but which I thought would look good crocheted up using this pattern. I really like the result!

I did make some errors though, including finishing it off inside out, which is why the buttons / buttonholes are the "wrong" way round for a girl. However I plan to use this pattern again for a larger cardigan in a few weeks time, and will make sure I get it right second time round. :)

Thank you Anne - that's what I was thinking too. The colours are softer than they look in the photo. And with just the cap sleeves, Elizah can wear a long or short sleeved vest underneath, depending on the weather. I gave this to my niece, Elizah's mum, yesterday, and she loves it, which made me very happy! :)

@Donna S: Donna, can you tell me the pattern for this as I would like to make it for my "heritage" box.

@Anne C: I've linked to the pattern (and the yarn I used) in the project information on the right, Anne. The pattern (titled "Parquet Cardigan") is available here on LoveCrochet, and costs £3.00.
