    Still waiting for the yarn to finish the mermaid tail and had to have something to knit. Took me a couple of hours and was a very simple pattern. American/Canadian site with loads of free patterns. Morag loves the cotton washcloths I knit; she says they are better than shop-bought face cloths.

    Measurements

    Notes: The pattern calls for a worsted weight cotton and the measurement is 9" x 9" but I used DK and the dimensions are 8" x 8" approx as I eyeballed the size.

      Second washcloth, first time with a scented cotton yarn. All I can say is it felt like knitting fresh laundry; not unpleasant.
