    I made two snowmen last year and my granddaughter loved them so I decided to make another this year with bits of leftover yarn to test my pattern so I could share it.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6)

    Accessories

    • Stuffing
    Other : Beads

    Measurements

    Notes: 12cm high

    Mini snowman pattern

    Cast on 12 sts
    KFB into 11 sts, k1 (23sts)
    Work 14 rows in st st
    K2 tog 5 times, K3, K2 tog 5 times (13 sts)
    Purl
    KFB into next 5 sts, K2, KFB into next 5 sts, K1 (23sts)
    Work 11 rows in st st
    K2 tog 11 times, K1 (12 sts)
    P2 tog 6 times
    Break off yarn and thread through the 6 sts
    Pull tight and fasten off
    Sew seam from head down leave enough room at the bottom to stuff the snowman
    I used beads for the eyes and nose but they could be embroidered

    Hat

    Cast on 26 sts
    Do 2 rows of rib stitch
    8 rows of st st
    K2 tog 13 times
    P2 tog 6 times, P1
    Break yarn and thread through stitches left on needle
    Sew seam

    (I used Bernat pip squeak and 4 mm needles)
