Matinee Jackets for twins.

I made this for Eleanor and Lyla. Prem twins that have just come home from hospital .

    About

    This was my go to pattern for many years, whenever a new baby was on the way. I have recently tried out many new and modern patterns. However decided it was time to knit this one again. It is a very easy, yet effective pattern, always turns out well. Knits up very quickly. All in one piece up to the arm holes. When working fronts and back from there on up, no need to use stitch holder, I just leave spare stitches on the end of the needle. There are two designs on the the pattern, but like to knit the little jacket with patterned borders. I have included photos of the pattern as I think it is so old it will no longer be in print. Apologies for the condition as this little pattern has been in use for over 30 years. Used three balls to knit two jackets.
