    About

I had enough yarn from the first dachshund to make a companion so following the “Sausage” theme I’ve called him Lorne after the Scottish square sausage.

I knew you’d like it! That same friend bought me a Matroiska nesting doll some years before because she knew I liked them & she got this on her holiday at Easter - my grandson adores the doll!

Thanks Dianne, I could have called him Cumberland but I personally like a Lorne Sausage so his name was a no-brainier!

Isn't that funny you saying I'm a good knitter, we are always so critical of our own work. I can't wait to see your lab or Chihuahua, it's funny how everyone has the same pattern and they all turn out different.😊😊

We are self-critical but we know the work that goes into projects so we can support other knitters (plus we don’t like to seem like boasters! I usually like what I knit - well the 2nd one anyway) I like the differences in our knitting cos it makes every piece unique tho’ from the same pattern. I have to confess I’ve sent away for the yarn for the next dogs - I’ve lost track of my stash!!!

Thank you, it means a lot coming from such a good knitter yourself; on to the chihuahua and the lab next!
