    About

    I wanted something comfy and warm. Something to step out into the garden with, but look stylish with a detachable collar to wear to dine in elegance. Definitely a coatigan. The detachable collar is fantastic and an item to be worn on its own as a button up scarf. Thank you to whoever offered this pattern up as Free.
    The recommended yarn of Bernat Roving was disappointing. Even after knitting and before the first wash the yarn looked worn and frayed as if it was really old. See the photo. It also readily split when knitting. For such a large garment I wish I'd used a better quality and refined wool.
