    About

I saw this lovely pattern on Love Knitting over a yer ago and had to wait to see if my future grandchild was a girl. I knitted this in early autumn and am very pleased with the results. The Faux Fur was very floppy and I ended up knitting a ferw extrs rows on each piece so tht it would stand out a little more. I think the silver fur goes well with the plum and used up extra silver buttons from my Grey/Pink dress and think they go really well. Not a hard pattern but I have never knitted fake cable before but am pleased with the results.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 4.00mm (US 6) 30cm
    • Single Point 3.25mm (US 3) 30cm

    Accessories

    • Buttons
    • Tapestry Needle
Other : The leftover silver buttons I had used for the pink/grey pinafore dress were ideal for the coat as they match the fur exactly.

    Measurements

    6-9 mths

Notes: I made the largest size but added quite a few extra lines in the fake double cable as I wanted it to be a coat rather than a jacket.
