    About

I came across Vanessa Mooncie's Animal Heads book by accident and bought it on a whim. I'd not followed a crochet pattern before so I started at the beginning with a mouse and some old wool. I probably undid it 3 times before I got the hang of it, but having mastered this pattern I was easily able to complete others in the book. So far I have made the Hare, the Stag and finally this lion which I am amazed by. I like it that there is very little sewing and tucking ends in, as that's my least favourite part of any project.

I have really enjoyed it and look forward to the next animal.
