    About

I spent the year 2016 knitting for Christmas, beginning in January! When all was said and done, I gifted 10 pairs of mittens, 5 pairs of mitts, 7 scarfs, 9 ornaments and a dozen pairs of socks. I also managed to whip up 40 hats that went to the homeless in downtown Boston. It was a very prolific year, and I enjoyed every stitch. This year, my first pair of socks is for me! I knit two pairs while on vacation in the British Virgin Islands... knitting under a palm tree! Bliss! They are coming in handy now that I'm back home in New England!
