    I had a bit of trouble, at the beginning, with this pattern, but once I got the hang of it, it was very easy and intuitive. Took a while, but I think it was well worth the effort. I bought the Rowan Finest close-out yarn, and this is another great project using it. The Rowan yarn, while listed as fingering, is more of a sport weight, so the motif is larger than shown in the pattern's pic. i want to make this hat again, with a finer yarn. I'm contemplating adding a pom pom.
