We are growing lavender in our garden, which eventually should form a hedge aroound a flower bed and felt I should be making good use of the fragrant flower heads. I came across this pattern for Lavender Scahett Dolls, I don't usually knit this type of thing prefering to create clothing projects for family and premature baby units and charity, but really am enjoying putting these little girls and boys together, which I may sell for charity of give to friends, as little gifts. I have been able to use odds and ends of left over wool for hair and eyes and a little pink Urban Decay Eye shadow for the cheeks.
