    PLEASE NOTE THIS IS THE WRONG PATTERN FOR THE CARDIGAN THAT I KNITTED.. PUT WRONG ONE ON CANT GET IT OFF ..SORRY
    This was my biggest project yet.
    Although i thought i had done a correct tension check before i started it turned out too small by a mile.
    Tried ironing it to stretch it a bit but still too small.
    The pattern in the details here is just a similar one as i could not find the original..

      I think your right Michelle i had been looking at picking up and knitting around the front edge but it looked a bit complicated so as you say i could knit a rib and attatch it after.

      Well honestly Sharon I'm not as good as some of the ladies on this site but maybe you could just knit a band that matches your cuffs just work out how wide you want it knit it separately and sew it on. You could either do it in one piece or two pieces and join at the back of the neck.i think that would look really nice and give it a nice finish.Hope that helps just my thoughts it's too nice not to do something.😊😊

      Oh you must have been so disappointed that it is too small as it is lovely, the cables and colour are so pretty.

        I am thinking of a way to add an edge around the front and neck to make it fit.. any suggestions?
