Oh that's an exciting challenge! This is quite an easy pattern, Pamela, as it's mainly knit stitches (just four purls in the whole thing!) and grows quickly, but my favourite is Quercus because it is easy to remember the pattern repeat and to see the right and wrong sides of the work to decide which row you're on next. It's also easy to make Quercus bigger if you want to, by just working more pattern repeats. A good combination of the two designs is Gingersnap, though, which is mainly knit sts too and with a small pattern repeat. I hope this helps!!
shawl looks amazing I have never made a shawl even though I have been knitting for many years can you advise me on a pattern that I would cope with I also suffer with ME so suffer with brain fog when its bad.
Thank you! I'm about to finish my second one today and THEN I'll be able to make one for myself. It's so pleasurable to knit - don't think I'll ever stop!
Hi Pamela, thank you for the complement! This shawl was a dream to make and I've started another one straight away!! The pattern is Cornflower Shawl from SEAknitting. Let me know if you struggle to find it and I'll send you the link
