    About

Inspired again by Kim D's same project, I love this slightly larger washcloth pattern. Oh, I am so easily distracted by a charming washcloth design.

    Pattern

    Knitted Lacy Round Cloth

This pattern can be found here:
    www.knittingknonsense.com

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 6.00mm (US 10)
    • Single Point 4.50mm (US 7) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

Notes: From point to point, across the centre, I measure 30cms and the American pattern states 10inches, so I think mine is a bit wider than the pattern ie 30cms is approx 12 inches according to my ruler. I added two crocheted chains; one to the centre of the cloth and one on the outside, so that it could be hung up. These are not part of the original pattern.

Just got off the websites you suggested Hazel, and I've printed out 4 patterns to try, one of which I am fairly sure is the one you've done, the Sunburst Dishcloth by Sara Baldwin. Thank you once again!

I’m glad you found something! I’ve not knitted the Sunburst Dishcloth but now you’ve put me onto it I’m sure I will!

I'm loving this washcloth but can't find a pattern to go with it. If some one can direct me towards it , that would be much appreciated. I'm a resident of Queensland in Australia, and have many friends who would not say no to one of these cloths knitted in Batik Ombre which are the team colours of the Broncos.

Nicky, I tried to fing the pattern on the KnittingKnonsense website but it’s no longer there - the domain is for sale. Have a look on Ravelry at Knitlist lacy round Dishcloth which is free or look atwww.simplynotable.com. I never wrote the pattern down for this Dishcloth or printed it off at the time. Sorry, but I hope these alternatives might do!
