    About

My mom wanted to buy a poncho for my niece. However we didn't find anything we liked. So I popped off, "Why don't we make one?" Well "we" turned into "I" and this is what I came up with.

    Pattern

    Granny Square

    This pattern is from:
The Great Granny Crochet Book — American School of Needlework, 1979-01

    Needles & Hooks

    • Crochet Hook 4.00mm (US 6)

    Measurements

Notes: Make four Granny Squares with 18 Rnds for poncho. Make make 2 with 9 Rnds for hood. When attaching pieces together use single crochet. Could do as little as 10 Rnds to as large as 20 Rnds. This should make a size that could fit from a 2 year toddler to a 12 year old. When making the hood make sure you increase or decrease with poncho size.
