    About

    This hat is a replica of the first hat I knit after my return to knitting in 2016 after 45 years of not knitting. I re-knit the hat because my daughter left the original on an airplane and was distraught that she had done so. I was touched that she placed so much meaning on the first hat, so I decided I would make her another just like the first! The pattern is very easy to follow, and in chunky yarn, it knits up very fast. She was thrilled. (And so was I--I did a lot better job knitting this than I did a year ago!)

    This hat is knit flat and seamed.
