    About

When he was young, his mum knitted him a raglan crew neck jumper every year. She died when he was 20 and I never got to meet her. But I've learnt to knit purely so I could make this for him! This is my second knitting project, so I am learning as I go.

That's so sweet :) It's looking fabulous already and I'm sure you're dad will be over the moon! What pattern are you using?

Thank you! I'm not actually :/ for better or worse! I just took his measurements, and the measurements of his favourite jumper, did a swatch and then calculated the number of stitches or rows I would need for those measurements. And then just using YouTube to work out the rest (like I still have no idea how to decrease for the raglan!) it could look horrendous!!

Aww what a beautiful reason to start knitting! Your grandma would be so proud I'm sure. I'm also using this yarn and can't wait to see the finished jumper!!

Ooh, I will keep an eye on it, I love seeing how different projects using the same yarn turn out!
