    About

I found the pattern while I was browsing, and wasn't moved to create it right away. But then I fell deeply in love with the colourful yarn, and I married the two together. The yarn colourway is like a rainbow with lots of gold and lilac (and no red). Just delicious! I haven't worn the results in the wild yet, but I can see me throwing it on over a white or boldly coloured top for the sake of an extra layer. I photographed it over a dark purple t-shirt, which seems to work nicely.

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.50mm (US 4) 20cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

    XL

Notes: I worked an extra two lots of patterned rows (total 16 patterns) to reach the required length, which may be due to the different yarn. I also knitted a 'solid' back in reverse stocking stitch, because I felt the pattern front and back was a bit much. This worked out at 10 ss rows for each group of patterned rows (total 160 rows). The result isn't snug, but doesn't hang loose, either, which I think is right for the design.
