I made this for myself, after all that Christmas gift knitting...

    About

I've been eyeing this pattern for a long time, so cozy and original, with its detachable cowl. That cowl is a must in Canada. My neck needs protection, even under my winter coat. That arctic wind always seems to find its way to my skin. But it's nice to be able to take it off, when you stop to a store, or spend time inside a coffee shop or take the subway.
Alas, Blackstone tweed, the original yarn, has been discontinued, and none of the colours left would do. I love Inca Tweed as much as I loved Blackstone, so perfect replacement, there. It's a nice chunky yarn, and the colour - dirty snow - makes the perfect Winter knitting material.
Sip tea and knit while watching the snow fall.
