    About

We recently moved to the country from Melbourne, Australia. Our new town is called Heywood and it is renowned for its roses. I am not a great gardener but I can crochet so when I found a multitude of flower people patterns at this website I decided to make these for the show instead. I have made a rose, a daffodil, a waterlily, an orchid, a pansy. a poppy, 2 different hydrangers, a gerbera and a sunflower to date. Initially I followed the pattern to the letter but by the 3rd one I was happily changing colours, changing dress and even adding bits & pieces to match the flowers in my garden. I can't wait til Feb to enter them in the show.
